At OBK, secondary students’ time is full of fun, education and informational activities. In addition, this cycle prepares our students for the world of work. In other words, it is a one-step closer to the real world, where each student has to settle things and start thinking of his/her major and future career. At OBK, students have the opportunity to start deciding their future majors by being introduced to career guidance workshops and webinars organized by the school counselor. They also have the chance to visit different universities to get needed information for university registration. In addition, secondary students at OBK are provided with opportunities to participate in different leadership programs such as the MAL and MUN programs organized by LAU. They also participate in AUB and BAU Science fairs, Hariri University different competitions (public speaking, essay writing, etc.), LAU competitions, Poetry Recitation competitions, UNESCO projects and others. Moreover, they become eligible to volunteering work and community service activities. That is, they are obliged to spend 60 hours of community service activities in different fields of their interest through the program organized by Makassed Volunteering Unit along with the Makassed Cancer Center, DSC and the School of Autism in Beirut. Our talented students in the fields of Arts and Music have the chance to be part of the school clubs as well. Furthermore, the Makassed Association organizes annual competitions in public speaking, arts fairs, math & science fairs as well as Quran Recitation competitions where our beloved students spend months preparing to compete and fully present their school with pride and honor.

Overall, an OBK graduate is a proud and well-developed graduate in all aspects.
