Vision

The Makassed Learning Abilities Center (MLAC) provides a conducive learning environment where students learn in a warm, loving, and safe setting in a least restrictive atmosphere.

We recognize that every learner has unique needs, and we empower learners to reach their potential to succeed at school and community. We design instruction that meets the needs of all learners by keeping up with latest research based practices related to cognitive, language and social emotional  development and sensory/motor skills.

Mission

MLAC assists learners to succeed by providing support services per individualized educational plan (IEP), trainings and awareness campaigns for the community about inclusion supporting learners to develop academically, physically and socially as well.
